Confirmed Beta dates
The confirmed WARDOGS Beta runs from August 21 through August 23, 2026. The live Steam offer is the primary source for this current test window and the available access routes. Pending confirmation / 待确认: precise daily server hours, preload timing, and region availability are not published.
Who gets access
The official Steam offer distinguishes between guaranteed and selection-based access. A pre-purchase creates the guaranteed entitlement described by the offer, while Request Access applies for possible selection. Players should check the license on the Steam account they intend to use.

- Steam Request Access enters a non-buyer into a possible selection pool.
An old Alpha application, Discord membership, wishlist, or community dashboard account is not a substitute for either route. None of those states proves that the current Beta license is attached to Steam. The game appearing in the correct Library is the practical account-level confirmation.
How to request access
Open the official WARDOGS Steam page while signed in. If the Playtest module offers Request Access, submit the request with the Steam account you intend to use. Steam can show or email the result if access is granted, and there is no legitimate fee for using the Request Access button.
Pre-test checklist
- Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- 16 GB RAM.
- At least 50 GB free storage, with extra headroom recommended.
- A supported GPU near or above the published minimum.
- Updated Steam client and access to the correct account email.
- The latest Easy Anti-Cheat and NDA instructions from the official announcement.
What is not announced
The current listing does not confirm an hour-by-hour schedule, preload timing, server regions, queue policy, or whether every test statistic persists afterward. Each of those items is pending confirmation / 待确认 rather than evidence of a missing feature. Treat screenshots or community claims as unverified until Steam, WARDOGS, BULKHEAD, or Team17 publishes the detail.
Refund and support route
Steam explains that pre-purchases can generally be refunded before release and are subject to the current Steam refund terms after release. Individual eligibility, playtime calculation, and payment handling are decided by Steam Support rather than this wiki. Read the official Steam refund policy instead of relying on a community promise.
