Official account
The official WARDOGS Twitter account is @WARDOGS on X. Team17's reveal article links the same profile, providing a first-party identity check beyond the display name. Similar handles, regional fan pages, and reply accounts are not substitutes for the exact @WARDOGS profile.
X versus Twitter naming
Twitter is now called X. Players still search for both “WARDOGS Twitter” and “WARDOGS X,” so this page uses both names for clarity. Both names point to x.com/WARDOGS and do not indicate separate official accounts.
What gets posted
The account is useful for fast playtest reminders, development-log promotion, trailer releases, Steam-announcement links, and other time-sensitive notices. BULKHEAD's Early Access material also names X with Discord and YouTube as a community-feedback route. Social posts can be edited, removed, or separated from a thread, so important claims need a durable second source.
How to verify the profile
- Confirm the handle is exactly
@WARDOGS. - Follow the link from Team17 or another official WARDOGS property.
- Inspect outbound links before signing in or downloading anything.
- Treat display names and checkmarks alone as insufficient evidence.
Cross-check important updates
Use Steam for release dates, prices, offers, requirements, and official news. Use Team17 or BULKHEAD for long-form product and studio information, and Discord for current community instructions. If an X post conflicts with a live store page, record both dates and label the issue pending confirmation / 待确认 until an official clarification appears.
Avoid impersonators
Do not trust accounts offering paid Beta selection, Alpha-key trading, surprise crypto rewards, or a standalone WARDOGS launcher. Never enter a Steam Guard code on a page opened from an unsolicited reply. The safe profile link on this page always goes directly to x.com/WARDOGS.
Confirmed facts stay separate from speculation.
Dates, prices, platforms, test access, downloads, and gameplay rules are checked against Steam, Team17, BULKHEAD, or another named first-party source. Community claims are labeled until independently confirmed.
